E3 2016: Telltale’s The Walking Dead: Season 3 kicks off in Q3, Batman to premiere at E3

Telltale Games are gearing up to release both the third season of their popular series based on The Walking Dead and their new title Batman: A Telltale Games Series this year. The company has now confirmed the release window for both, plus their E3 intentions on Twitter.

Director of Creative Communications Job Stauffer reiterated their SXSW 2016 announcement that the developer’s Batman adventure would release during the US summer period, while The Walking DeadSeason 3 would resume in the fall. No further details were provided, though he did confirm that Batman would appear at E3 next week.

The last time the developer spoke about their plans for Batman was in March when it was announced that characters like Commissioner Gordon and Alfred, among others, would appear. Also announced, a focus on both Bruce Wayne and Batman, so much so that players can apparently choose to spend more time out of the cowl than in it.

Telltale has been talking about Season 3 of The Walking Dead since 2014 and followed up the game’s successful second season with the three-episode miniseries The Walking Dead: Michonne in April.
