Call of Duty is adding dragons because sure, why not

The new DLC pack for Call of Duty: Black Ops III, titled Descent, drops in just a few short weeks, bringing with it new maps, and a new mission that will have you fighting zombies and dragons together because why the hell not.
Activision’s press release on the DLC states that “Gorod Krovi,” which is the new mission in the game’s Zombies saga, is set in an alternate version of the 1940’s Soviet Union. Players must “face off against a swarm of mechanised zombie infantry and dodge hell-fire from aerial dragon assaults” among the ruins of what used to be Stalingrad. The mission will boast new enemies, weapons and gameplay mechanics like a dragon-shaped shield that appears to shoot green flame.

Descent will also come with four new multiplayer maps including Empire, set in a Roman villa; Cryogen, set in a Dead Sea cryogenic prison compound; Berserk, set in a blizzard-stricken viking town and Rumble, a battle arena that is strewn with the debris of gigantic robots.

Descent arrives on PS4 starting July 12 with the Xbox One and PC versions arriving at a later, currently unannounced date.
