New Pokémon Sun and Moon trailer is about holidays, unity, adventure and occasionally Pokémon

While we’re sure that you’re all sick of us talking about Pokémon Go, a new Japanese trailer for Pokémon Sun and Moon has dropped overnight. The trailer gives a quick look at new gameplay modes and a few new Pokémon.

Among the ad’s many quick highlights is the return of a feature called Pokémon Amie, which was a touchscreen feature that debuted in Pokémon X and Y, allowing trainers to pet and stroke their Pokémon to form a stronger bond. Also featured is a quick glimpse of the multiplayer Battle Royal mode that was debuted at E3 this year.

Battles seem to be the trailer’s biggest draw and eagle-eyed fans will spot a number of Generation 1 and 2 Pokémon, and a few brand new characters strewn amongst them.

Pokémon Sun and Moon launches on the New Nintendo 3DS on November 19.
