Collateral Beauty stars Will Smith as a brilliant and talented New York ad man who is mourning the death of his young daughter.
As some sort of coping mechanism, Smiths character writes and posts letters to Death, Time, and Love, who he believes play an important part in our lives. He never expects to receive a response, but he eventually receives one. People stating that they are Death, Time, and Love manifested approach Smith and try to convince him that not all is lost and that he needs to start living again.
Supporting Will Smith are Edward Norton, Kate Winslet and Michael Pena who play Smith’s concerned friends, and Keira Knightley, Helen Mirren, and Jacob Latimore, who play Love, Death, and Time respectively.
Collateral Beauty will be directed by David Frankel, whose previous works include The Devil Wears Prada and Marley & Me. Screen Writer Allan Loeb, whose previous works include 21 and Here Comes the Boom, has penned the script.
