It’s been 7 years since the hugely successful Saw franchise came to a grisly end but John Kramer is back as the titular Jigsaw and we have the first poster to truly get you on edge.
The Saw franchise has earned close to a billion dollars worldwide ($953,421,276 to be exact) and stands as the fifth most successful horror franchise in history. After Saw 3D in 2010, plans for a follow-up were scrapped after negative reviews and poor box-office results. Jigsaw looks to revive some earlier ideas and provides some long sought-after answers of the series’ iconic villain.
Jigsaw will be directed by Michael Spierig and Peter Spierig (Daybreakers and the upcoming Winchester starring Helen Mirren) and stars Tobin Bell, Mandela Van Peebles and Laura Vandervoort.
Jigsaw will hit cinemas on November 2 and in classic Saw fashion, Halloween advance screenings will be held on October 31.
