Here’s your first look at the Aussie gaming and mental health webseries CheckPoint, kicking off January 29

Back in May last year, we covered the final stages of the CheckPoint Kickstarter. The Kickstarter ultimately reached its goal, allowing the Aussie non-profit CheckPoint to begin production on a planned web series about the intersection between video games and mental health. The show premieres in just under two weeks but here’s a little sneak peek now to get you pumped.

Having raised enough money to produce not one but fully two seasons of the show, CheckPoint will feature interviews with video game luminaries from developers like Naughty Dog, Square Enix, Bethesda and more.

The show also features interviews with homegrown legends like Gizmodo’s Rae Johnston, Bethesda AU’s Kelsey Gamble and former EA AU and Robot House community manager Jess Hodgson.

CheckPoint kicks off on January 29 on YouTube, Steam and the official CheckPoint website.  Follow them on TwitterFacebookInstagram for more updates.
