First look at Emma Stone and Jonah Hill in Netflix series Maniac

Streaming service Netflix has recently released global first look images from Cary Fukunaga’s directing debut for the upcoming exclusive series, Maniac.

Starring Superbad duo Emma Stone and Jonah Hill, Maniac follows the story of two strangers partaking in a mind-bending pharmaceutical trial that inevitably goes awry.

Sally Field (Mrs. Doubtfire), Justin Theroux (The Leftovers), Julia Garner (Ozark) and Jemima Kirke (Girls) co-starring, Maniac comes to Netflix in the form of dark comedy based as a remake of the 2014 Norwegian series of the same name.

With no release date or official trailer, Maniac still manages to generate a great deal of excitement pairing two talented performers with a twisted, innovative narrative. We’ll be sure to update you with details in the coming months.
