E3 2018: Insomniac’s Spider-Man gets a brand new trailer

Developer Insomniac have rocked the PlayStation E3 press conference with a ton of new footage from their upcoming superhero game, Spider-Man. Hit the jump to check it out for yourself.

The trailer sees Spidey taking on the Shocker during a storm, which is probably the worst possible time to want to fight a guy who uses electricity as a weapon.

When Spidey finds himself in the middle of a prison breakout organised by the Sinister Six, its time for some thrilling heroics. What follows is a demonstration of the game’s lightweight and very flippy interpretation of the now well-known Batman Arkham combat controls.

The trailer goes everywhere — it plays with city combat, quick time events, verticality, plane shifting, you name it. Insomniac are throwing in the kitchen sink on this one.

Spider-Man arrives September 7 2018, exclusively on PlayStation 4.
