The Breaker Uppers’ Directors Jackie Van Beek and Madeleine Sami Lead National Tour Down-Under With Q&A Screenings

Still hot from it’s box office success in New Zealand, the Taika Waititi (Thor: Ragnarok) executive produced comedy The Breaker Upperers is set to tour down under, with directors Jackie Van Beek (What We Do in the Shadows) and Madeleine Sami (Slow West) leading the charge of upcoming Q&A screenings across the country.

The Breaker Upperers follows Mel and Jen, who fifteen years ago, discovered they were involved with the same man. Bitter from their betrayal, the pair formed a small-time business breaking up couples for cash. Now that business is booming, the challenge becomes staying single. However, as they run into an old victim, Mel begins to form a bond, as the once sacred friendship is put to the test.
