Single of the Day: KLP feat. Remi “Recover” (2015)

Sydney’s KLP (AKA Kristy Lee Peters) has teamed up with unstoppable Melbourne rapper Remi for her new track “Recover”, a sure-shot hit for Australia’s festival season with its breathlessly energetic vibe. Full of Kristy’s layered vocals and Remi’s witty lyricism, the hyperactive song is yet another strong offering from the multi-talented Triple J House Partyhost.

KLP had this to say about the meaning behind the song: “When a close friend tries to screw you over, it can seem impossible to first of all get over it, but then also let it go to the point of not even being angry anymore. But I got there – and this song was a little bit of self therapy.”

No doubt this will fit right in as part of her upcoming KLParty tour with Neon Indian, promising a full live band experience!
