The WA Music Conference has announced its third round of speakers for the 2015 event, including our Editor in Chief Larry Heath, building impressively upon previous announcements. Fred Pessaro (Noisey/VICE Music) will be delivering a keynote address on the future of music media and journalism, another addition in today’s announcement – sure to be a popular feature of 2015 programming. With pre-sales selling out, the organisers have now revealed a further 35 names who will be appearing at a range of panels and keynote addresses over the two-day event. Shifting focus to the WAM Festival’s ‘Saturday Spectacular’, the organisers behind this run of live music showcases have announced the artists confirmed to appear. The programming will be expanded to include a whole new night of gigs, ‘Sunday Best’, which makes its debut in Fremantle. All shows are free and will also be throwing the spotlight on some fantastic venues from midday through until 2am. More than 50 new acts have been announced for this element of the festival, including the below:
Will Stoker and the Embers, Blackwall Reach, Ruby Boots, High Horse, PUCK, Chainsaw Hookers, The Floors, Mt. Mountain.
