What music or artists inspired you?
We love so many different artists! Recently we’ve been listening to Sia, Ryn Weaver, & Lord Huron. We’re long-time fans of artists like Fleedwood Mac, Coldplay, & Ingrid Michaelson.
How did the band get started?
We both met in Rochester, NY after Alyssa appeared on American Idol. We played together in a different band before starting Roses & Revolutions on our own.
How would you best describe your live show:
Soaring vocals served over a bed of haunting guitars.
What shows do you have coming up?
Keep an eye on Facebook for more dates.
Tell us about your latest release:
Torch EP is a step in a different direction for us. Our previous EP was heavily rooted in the singer/songwriter genre, while with Torch, we ventured into a more pop/alternative vibe. Each song talks about fire or burning, either figuratively or literally, so we thought Torch would be a good title to pull it all together.
The EP starts off in a very desperate and dire state of mind, but as each track progresses, that state turns into a more comfortable and peaceful place.
Where can I get your music?
