The Backbone 2high Festival unveiled its 2016 program today, led by Airling fresh off the back of her Stallin’ tour, and Ben Dalton (ex-Hungry Kids of Hungary)’s experimental rock act Born Joy Dead. Other highlights of the music program include Canadian musician Clio Em blurring the lines between classical and electronic music, in her first ever Australian show, and recently announced Grant McLennan Fellowship finalist Ella Fence.
Tickets are only $15 for a day or $25 for a 3-day pass, and are available at 2highfestival.com.au
Now in its 21st year, the boutique multi-arts festival will also present their performance, community, science, feminism and Youth Arts programs at their new home of Metro Arts in Brisbane.
The festival will run from the 15th to 17th of January 2016.
