Rod Stewart “Please” – The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon (Wednesday)

Rod Stewart dropped by Fallon to play the lead single off his 29th studio album Another Country which came out last week. Stewart with his trademark voice and hair, was impressive as he cried out for someone to stay with him overnight. The Roots who are always refreshing helped Rod out as his backing band.
Alabama Shakes “Joe” – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Wednesday)

The always stunning Brittany Howard growled her way through the bonus track off their album Sound & Colour that was released earlier this week. The performance was slow and sustained, rich with waves of emotion. Lets hope the band are back in Australia soon.
Chance The Rapper “Angels” – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Monday)
Showcasing the world premiere of your new song can be a pretty cool thing, especially if you can use the host of the show as a prop. Enter the ever-so-king Stephen ‘Angel’ Colbert! This energetic track is so new – it didn’t even appear on Chances newest album from May of this year.
Jack Garratt “Worry” – Conan (Tuesday)
One-man-band Jack Garratt was forcefully stunning as he handled all the instrument duties in his first US late-night TV appearance. His debut album “Phase” is out soon and available for preorder now.
Seth MacFarlane “The One I Love” – The Late Show with Stephen Colbert (Thursday)

File this one under ‘Interesting’. The Family Guy, American Dad and Ted creator/voice artist has just released his third(!) studio album, “No One Ever Tells You”. It’s a collection of old standards produced, composed and arranged by Joel McNeely. It’s hard not to hear Brian Griffin singing this, but it’s actually pretty cool!
