Time to start brushing up on what bands you’ll be spending New Year’s with, Falls Festival punters! The crew behind the festival tour have today released the set times for events in Marion Bay, Lorne and Byron Bay and maaaan, are we in for a good party this year.
If you’re spending New Year’s Eve in Marion Bay, expect to ring in 2016 with Bloc Party and Disclosure playing the Valley Stage either side of the countdown. Lorne, you’ve got Foals and Django Django bringing the party on the Valley Stage, while DJ Yoda will be up in the Grand Theatre throwing down a set to take you right through the countdown. And for those Falls-goers heading to Byron Bay, The Wombats have got you covered to ensure you’re going to be dancing your way into 2016. The set times are relatively clash free this year, considering the amount of big name bands coming out to Australia for the tour, hopefully scheduling your must-sees around the inevitable hangovers and sleep ins on site won’t be too much of a drama. Festival goers are encouraged to lock down their Car Passes and festival tickets if they’ve still not done it as the final ones are moving very quickly. As it stands, tickets are still available for the festivals in Byron Bay and Marion Bay ONLY.
For those of you keen to arrive early for Boogie Nights at each Falls Event, the theme for this year has been revealed: TINSELTOWN. Get fancy.
