We first came across London act Formation in 2015 when they were supporting Foals on their short European run promoting the recent release of What Went Down. Loved their vibe then and we’ve been keeping an eye on them since. Just before Christmas, Formation dropped a new music video for their tune “Love”, take from their new EP Under the Tracks and we think it’s a pretty cool release.
Depicting the pain of love via a simple tattoo, the concept of the song itself is brilliantly realised. You don’t need a million things happening at once in a film clip to get the message across and “Love”‘s visual accompaniment is a great example of it. There’s a cool groove to the music that hooks you in and, if you’re like us, makes you want to find out more about the artist.
