Newcastle power duo The Gooch Palms have been added to what is now a stomper sold out Australian tour by Violent Soho this year – for real, could this bill get any more raucous? The Gooch Palms, who we recently saw tear up at SXSW for another year, have been working on their second album Introverted Extroverts and so to see what they’ve got up their sleeves upon their Australian return is something we’re very very excited for.

It’s an exciting development for Mansfield’s favourite sons, with the new Violent Soho album WACO also hitting the #1 spot on the ARIA Albums Chart in its debut week. Now, with their upcoming tour with DZ Deathrays, Dune Rats (and now The Gooch Palms) selling out right around the country, the QLD boys are sitting incredibly pretty.
“We can’t explain how mind-blowing this is for our humble selves,” the band has stated. “but thanks so, so much to all you legends out there who’ve picked up a copy so far. Honestly, it means the world to us! Now it’s time to party!”
