Post-Apocalyptic Love Songs is the new album from Brisbane songwriter and musician Jimi Beavis and this afternoon, we’re stoked to premiere his latest cut from it, “At Least It’s Better Than Home”.
Beavis’ musicality oozes some great blues and roots tones, while exploring the fringes of pop and Americana as well. This single demonstrates a great use of light and darker pop elements; the harmonies infuse the arrangement of guitars and harmonica well and makes for an excellent listen and an intriguing insight into a wider album of work.
