Overnight, Marlon Williams & The Yarra Benders made their US TV debut, hitting the Burbank studios to perform on Conan. Currently in the US reaping in the praise off the back of recent live dates, the band are laying the groundwork for what’s set to be an impressive return later in the year. With festival dates (including Austin City Limits) and headline shows lined up through October and into November, Williams and the band are set to make even more of an impact Stateside.
They’ve already got a fan in Conan O’Brien himself, the host simply proclaiming, ‘That’s how it’s done!’ after the band threw down a fast and furious rendition of “Hello Miss Lonesome”, from Williams’ acclaimed self-titled album.
