Single of the Day: Sarah Connor ft. Bigredcap & Losty “APEX” (2016)

As Alicia Keys once proclaimed, ‘This girl is on fire‘. Today, Sydney’s Sarah Connor has come through with a track that definitely fits the description.

Teaming up with Bigredcap and Losty on the track, Connor spits rhymes that beckons haters to step up because well, she’s not fazed by their vitriol. Having burst out on to the radars of many when she took out the Hilltop Hoods Initiative, Connor has established herself as a force to reckoned with.

Confidence in her lyricism and presence within the genre screams loudly on “Apex” – Connor hasn’t relied on appearance or showiness in coming up since her breakout in 2014. Sheer talent, a raw and hard-hitting delivery behind each of her single releases so far has set this artist up as one to watch – this tune is a call to arms as much as anything else. Wise up and listen out for what Connor has to come next.
