Novocastrian indie rockers The Owls today share with us their new single, “Feels Like Gold”. As an indicator of what’s to come form their much anticipated new EP Don’t Waste Your Time on a Rainy Day, the single packs grit and punch.
Guitar and percussion clash recklessly as vocals cut through in a style perfected for a chaos-inciting live crowd environment. The band’s second release with acclaimed producer Lachlan Mitchell, “Feels Like Gold” clocks in at just over two minutes in length, but it’s an exciting little snipper of where this band is heading next.
