Låpsley has released the music video for the DJ Koze edit of her tune “Operator” this week and we vibe. Directed by Cherise Payne, who was also behind previous Låpsley clips (“Love Is Blind”, “Hurt Me”, “Brownlow”), the music video’s origins came from a wild night out in Berlin.
“A group of friends took me out and introduced me to the city’s drag scene,” she has said. “That night’s stayed with me ever since and I wanted to pay homage and say thank you – this video’s as much for that scene as it is for me.”
Friggin’ love everything this girl is putting her hand to and as a lot of us saw of her show at Splendour recently, she’s only getting started.
