CL is continuing to break into mainstream commercial success out in the US, with the Korean songwriter and vocalist nailing the follow up to the popular “Hello Bitches”, with “LIFTED”.
Co-written by CL, TEDDY and Asher Roth, the single uses interpolations of “Method Man” by the Wu-Tang Clan all the while continuing to explore CL’s hectic and captivating style. The music video has also been capturing attention; directed by Dave Meyers (Missy Elliott’s “Lose Control”, Katy Perry’s “Firework”), CL and her crew took to New York to get the visuals on lock.
