FREYA JOSEPHINE HOLLICK
Hollick’s new album The Unceremonious Junking of Me is out on November 11th through Heart of the Rat Records; made over three sessions at the Main Bar in Ballarat, captured on 1 1/2″ tape by Myles Mumford (Rolling Stock Recording Rooms). Steeped in blues and country, the music Hollick has made is heart wrenchingly honest and has made this lady one to watch. The album is available for pre-order now HERE.
THE MOLOCHS
Lucas Fitzsimons and The Molochs will be releasing they knew album, America’s Velvet Glory, in January via Innovative Leisure (Inertia Music in Australia) and already, the hype train has begun to build. Recorded with Jonny Bell at JazzCats studio in Long Beach (also home to Hanni El Khatib and Wall of Death), the new record is set to be a shining follow on from their debut, Forgetter Blues. The album’s lead single “No More Cryin” was featured on Matt Wilkinson‘s Beats 1 First Play show, while the track listing has also been made available below:

CLIENT LIAISON
We’ve been waiting for this one for a hot minute but finally, Client Liaison have revealed details for their highly anticipated debut album Diplomatic Immunity! To be released in Australia and New Zealand on November 4th via Dot Dash/Remote Control, the album features link ups with Tina Arena, George Hewitt (Cleopold), Benjamin Plant (Miami Horror) and Hugo Gruzman (Flight Facilities). Melbourne duo ALTA are set to release their Sincere EP on October 28th via Soothsayer and if you’ve been following what these two have been up to lately, you’ll know you’re in for some gold. NATHANIEL RATELIFF & THE NIGHT SWEATS
The soul group are bringing a new EP to life next week, with A Little Something ore From… dropping via Stax/Caroline Australia on October 21st. They were out in Australia earlier in the year for their acclaimed debut tour of the country and since then, the band has been taking names and putting on some wild shows right around the globe. Their self-titled debut album peaked at #1 on the Australian iTunes Main Albums Chart, so here’s hoping A Little Something More From… has the same charm!
