Single of the Day: Golden Vessel ft. Woodes “Vines” (2016)

Max Byrne aka Golden Vessel has struck upon something really gorgeous with new single “Vines”. Linking up with Woodes, who is fast becoming one of our favourite new Melbourne vocalists,  the Brisbane producer has come through with a track full of immaculate detail and glowing sounds. Taken from Golden Vessel’s debut EP Before Sleep, “Vines” is a stunning cut – thanks to EMC 2015, Golden Vessel and Woodes were able to come together and pool talents.

“We set up a little makeshift studio in my manager’s apartment and started re-working an instrumental I had made a few months earlier.” Byrne explains. “The bridge of the track was one of those, surprisingly common, situations where we said we would put something really quick and change it later, but it caught up really well and we fell in love with the bridge section. It’s my favourite part of the live set to perform.”
