“She Feels Live Home” is the latest single from Victorian five-piece The Settlement and in its delivery, marks a great period of creative progression for the group. Their album Stand in the Middle, is out today and to celebrate, we’re stoked to share the group’s new music video for the track.
The band’s roots in folk is clear, but they’ve projected a great amount of evocative punch with this single that indicates The Settlement’s move into some great alt-country territory. A tune that could easily be thrown down in a busy pub as it could on a festival stage, “She Feels Like Home” is soaked in nostalgia, as well as a bit of cheekiness in the lyrics.
The music video is great fun, as we find a lobster and a shark finding each other in a romance only a house party can provide.
