Yeo continues to go from strength to strength – the release of new album Desire Path has won the Melbourne producer and writer much acclaim and now, he’s bossing up for a national tour set to bring the Yeo name to many new ears.
Today, we’re loving his new film clip for “Leavin'”, one of our favourite songs on Desire Path – the song itself is melancholic and deeply personal, yet offers one of the most intimate insights into Yeo’s songwriting and musicality we’ve seen yet. The music video, directed by Greg Hodgson centres itself on one character and goes in deep in bringing some heavy emotions to screen.
“The music video is a character study of a man who has given up on or lost touch with a reality due to some unknown trauma,” Hodgson has explained. “Maybe the loss of a loved one or a failure to cope with the worldly pressures we all encounter each day.”
