Inspired by the legendary Bluebird Cafe sessions in Nashville, Sydney’s Leadbelly venue has been flourishing with their In The Round series of events. The brief is simple – music fans can get to see four singer/songwriters together for a night of candid performance; they perform their own songs, each other’s and some covers in between. The vibe is that of sharing and storytelling, collaborating in an environment not normally seen on the regular gig circuit.
Coming up on October 11th is an In The Round event curated by Sydney’s own Richard Cuthbert. Known for his work with Cuthbert at the Nightwalkers and the RC3, the multi-instrumentalist has brought together the talented Richard Cartwright (pictured), Alice Terry and Brian Campeau – a night sure to impress.
