Some of our favourite Scots are coming back to Australia – it’s been far too long since Biffy Clyro have hit our shores. Mon the Biff.
The band has held such a strong connection with Australian fans over the years – whether it was Blackened Sky that caught attention back in 2002, or Puzzles in 2007 that hooked them in, or even the breakthrough smash of an album in 2009’s Only Revolutions, Biffy’s anthemic and emotional brand of rock music has kept a hold over the years. Fast forwarding to this year’s Ellipsis record, Biffy Clyro celebrate album Number Seven and in marking it, the trio are on their way back to Australia for an unmissable east coast tour in April.
Tickets are on sale for the tour now but while the wait continues for the Biffy tour to roll around, we’re diving back into our record collection and revisiting some of the band’s best. Of course, “Mountains”, “Many of Horror” and “Black Chandelier” remain strong favourites, though earlier cuts in “Saturday Superhouse” and the more recent “City of the Dreadful Night” and “Wolves of Winter” also hold a special spot.
