A world away from his homeland on the North Welsh coast, Daryl James found a pocket of Australia to call his home in Brisbane, where he was quick to establish a career for himself busking on the east coast. Having toured through Europe and the UK extensively before finding himself in Australia, James’ sound incorporates acoustic vibes with the grittiness found in rich blues rock.
With EP and single releases well under his belt, James’ efforts have been focused on the creation and release of his debut album. Titled Insofar, the debut album from Daryl James is an expression of all these experiences on the road against a variety of different musical backdrops, and the first single from it in “The Wolf Is At The Door”, is a great example of the performer’s versatility.
