Single of the Day: The Pretty Littles “Don Dale” (2018)

Recent signees to Sunset Pig Records, The Pretty Littles have surged back to the fore of our radar with the release of new single, “Don Dale”. Taking to task gross mistreatment of inmates at the Northern Territory’s Don Dale Detention Centre, the band’s new single tackles negligence and mismanagement amongst other issues that have been prevalent for years.

This isn’t the first time The Pretty Littles have been vocals about their stances on today’s political climate but with “Don Dale”, the band have explored a reinvigorated approach to their already impassioned music. A way to empathise with those suffering in these institutions, “Don Dale” is an observation on serious issues within our own justice systems; check it out below.
