Understandably, the chance to record and bring music to life at a studio as iconic as Abbey Road Studios would be one many musicians would jump at, should it be on offer. For Tenderfoot, the opportunity indeed came calling, with the band heading into the studio to record their new album, To Be Young.
While the whole process of bringing this album together took place between not only Abbey Road Studios but also Hercules Street Studios and Tileyard Studios, the final result of the record is an accomplished, polished effort that is representative of the band Tenderfoot have continued to develop into off the back of a successful 2017 of shows and writing.
The single release of “She Calls” was quick to generate positive responses in the US, the song proving to be quite the head turner with Tenderfoot’s international fans flocking to the new sounds from the indie band. Their approach is nothing unfamiliar though, if you’ve been following the band since debut EP territory – Tenderfoot bring impassioned songwriting together with a furious knack for delivering the lyrics and arrangements with as much emotional punch as possible.
