As part of their international partnerships with Focus Wales, Australian Music Week and the East Coast Music Association, BreakOut West are able to welcome a contingent of artists from overseas to their festival and conference in Kelowna, Western Canada this year!
The news comes as BreakOut West has thrived on this partnership, now in its second year, in being able to host and introduce an ever-growing delegation of emerging international artists to their music scene and industry, providing connections with industry folk and the bands alike. Similarly, Australian Music Week has hosted BreakOut West over the last two years and well, the results have spoken for themselves, with artists who have played both festivals now having established credible status on either sides of the globe.
This year, Adelaide’s Tom West and Rockhampton’s Busby Marou are joining the list of acts heading to BreakOut West, alongside Kidsmoke and Campfire Social from Wales and Like a Motorcyle and Motherhood from the eastern Canadian regions.
“We found that so many artists from the east or west were only touring to Ontario or Quebec,” Robyn Stewart, Executive Director of the Western Canadian Music Alliance has said. “This partnership has shown great success in expanding the rest of Canada to participating bands.
Tickets and wristbands are available now for BreakOut West now here, while more information about the event – running from October 10th to 14th this year – can be accessed at www.breakoutwest.ca.
