Aida (Sydney)
Feel like doing something cultured? Why not head to the Opera for a fancy night out. Aida makes its way to the Sydney Opera House bringing with it a story of love and betrayal. Verdi’s monumental music transcends into an immersive and intimate production, from the celebrated Italian director David Livermore. Conductor Andrea Battison leads a magnificent cast featuring the stunning soprano of Amber Wagner, Elena Gabouri and Riccardo Massi. Featuring high-tech lighting and shadows, the production offers a combination of classic mixed with future spectacle.

The Gospel according to Earth, Wind and Fire (Adelaide)
Gospo offer up a vocal extravaganza, delivering the sounds of Earth, Wine and Fire. Musical director Charmaine Jones brings a two hour musical tribute to the kings of groove, playing some of the bands much loved hits- reconstructed with the Gasp signature style. Featuring award winning singer Andrew De Silva, Jones Junior, The Big Back Kaftans and members of The Gospo Collective, audiences are sure to be delighted and entertained with a night of groove.

Beautiful: The Carole King Musical (Brisbane)
After successful shows in Sydney and Melbourne, the Broadway sensation, Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, makes its way to the Lyric Theatre this July. Telling the inspirational true story of Carole King’s remarkable rise from teenage songwriter to global superstar, the production shines light on one of the most successful solo artists in pop music history. Featuring hit songs, ‘Natural Woman,’ ‘I Feel The Earth Move.’ and ‘Locomotion,’ this music isn’t to be missed.

Land and Sky- Warlpriri Artists of the Tanami Desert (Perth)
Warlporo artists have carried on the traditions of their culture and the preservation of Jukurrpa for generations. Now new artists at the community of Yuendumu are coming together to take their place in culture and Law. The paintings reflect the cultural traditional practices of the Jukurrpa, related to aspects of the land and sky. This exhibition perfectly showcases how the younger artists are making their mark and continuing the culture of their forbears.
