Alice Night and composer Robert Davidson announce performance at the Judith Wright in Brisbane

Singer songwriter Alice Night and composer Robert Davidson will be perfomring at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts for a night of live, theatrical music on April 29th.

Alice Night will be performing her debut album, Culture How Could You?, questioning contemporary culture, strained love with integrity and dark hope.

The ‘Artivist’ performance — a hybrid of music, storytelling and performance art — is composed by Robert Davidson, who will perform live alongside Alice playing a double bass, piano and guitar.

Culture How Could You? sprung from scribbled lyrics in local cafes and strangers’ long rooms. The performance journey’s from a Brooklyn basement with a weary carpet for a bed, to a musical mansion with a grand piano at her fingertips.

The cast includes Bravo Child, Anatole, ALPHAMAMA and Ma Ya Ga Ng Re Ne.

Culture How Could You? takes place on Friday 29th April 730pm in the performance space at the Judith Wright Centre, Brunswick St, Fortitude Valley. Tickets are $36 or $31 for concession with a discounted rate for group bookings of four or more people.
