Earlier this week, Brisbane Arts Theatre announced their 2017 run, boasting sixteen shows across their mainstage and children’s seasons.
After a sell out run in 2016, Jurassic Park: The Musical will return, alongside other musical productions Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, and perennial Brisbane Arts Theatre favourite Avenue Q.
The 39 Steps also returns to the Petrie Terrace theatre, with Of Mice And Men, Minefields & Miniskirts, The Woman in Black, and Lords & Ladies rounding out the mainstage productions.
The 2017 children’s season is just as jam-packed, with kids classics Charlotte’s Web, Snugglepot & Cuddlepie, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, The One Hundred and One Dalmations, and a musical version of Robin Hood all lined up. Disney princesses are also well represented, with productions of The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast also set to run.
The Brisbane Arts Theatre‘s 2017 season will open in January with Of Mice and Men and Charlotte’s Web.
Season passes to cover three or more shows are available.
