Opening this November at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Wonders of the World will bring an all new collection of epic LEGO creations to Australia, featuring some of the world’s most iconic landmarks in brick form.
The event will be curated by Ryan ‘The Brickman’ McNaught, the only certified LEGO professional in the Southern Hemisphere, and his team.
More than fifty never-before-seen models will be on display, including faithful recreations of the Arc de Triomphe, Michelangelo’s David, and the Empire State Building – complete with LEGO King Kong!
The whole exhibition took nearly 5,000 hours to build.
“I am beyond excited to debut the global premiere of my brand new exhibition, Wonders of the World, in Brisbane. This exhibition is like nothing that has ever been seen before, every model is brand new and infinitely more detailed than anything I’ve ever created,” said McNaught.
With a heavily interactive element, budding builders will be able to get their hands on some bricks too, putting together LEGO cars to help recreate the Parisian traffic around the Arc de Triomphe, or creating a LEGO version of themselves to stand beside Michelangelo’s David.
Wonders of the World will take over the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre from 23rd November to 14th December. Tickets are on sale now, through Ticketek.
Further events are also planned for Sydney, Melbourne, and Perth. For more information, please see McNaught’s website.
