After tearing Brisbane’s Mansfield Tavern a new one with Slamageddon back in August, Red Castle Entertainment are returning for another night of stellar live music and brutal wrestling match-ups.
Brace yourselves for Carnival Sins.
Taking place on November 9th, the card is stacked with local and interstate wrestling talent, with trio Kulture leading the charge. Moko, Toa, and Eugenie have been making waves across the Sunshine State and beyond, showcasing their hard-hitting style and charismatic in-ring presence. With Toa fresh from a tour of Japan, and Moko and Eugenie making their presence felt interstate in recent weeks, these three are hungry for the win – but they’ve got some tough competition.
Wrestlers JXT, FOX, and Tarlee are the interstate stars planning on pinning the Queensland trio. Veterans JXT and FOX have held countless championships, while Tarlee – who took home the win over Eugenie back at Slamageddon – will be fresh from a US tour.
But these aren’t the only clashes you’ll see on the night. Here’s the full card:
- The Lionheart Toa vs JXT
- The Polynesian Punisher Moko vs FOX
- The Golden Bati Eugene vs Tarlee
- Shep Alexander vs Zeke Andino
- The Dreamchaser E.C. Diamond vs Diabolical Dick Riggs
- Cesar vs Handsome Billie Mac
- The Buccaneer vs The Monster Rip Reilly
Of course, Carnival Sins isn’t just about the wrestling, with three bands scheduled to take to the stage throughout the night.
The show will mark the launch of progressive metalcore outfit Aeon Nexus’ EP Positive Disintegration. Classically trained frontwoman Sam Wolstenholme will wow with her killer blend of clean vocals and rich screams, backed up by a high-energy band, including energetic guitarist Shannon Loch, who is just as likely as any of the wrestlers to be running the ropes mid-set – guitar in hand!
Winners of the Slamageddon Br00talweight Championship, the trash-talking Regular Gonzales, will be returning to solidify their victory, while the hilarious Disgruntled Taxpayers round out the line-up, performing their punk rock satire tracks, including ‘Fabric Softener is the Secret to my Sexiness’.
Watching over proceedings will be Scarlet Lee, Red Castle Entertainment’s devilish Overseer of Operations, with Sister Tragic by her side to balance things out a little in favour of the good guys. And all this while the mischievous Goblin keeps score – just in case it wasn’t clear enough that Carnival Sins is no ordinary night on the town.
The show will be sponsored by Tragic Beautiful, the home of all things Gothic and alternative, with prizes up for grabs on the night.
Red Castle Entertainment’s Carnival Sins will take place at Mansfield Tavern on November 9th. Head to their Instagram for more info, or grab your tickets HERE. Event is strictly 18+.
