Today’s PlayStation State of Play broadcast opened with a brand new gameplay walkthrough of Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time.
The walkthrough, narrated by producer Lou Studdard from developer Toys For Bob, showed off the game’s classic design, and new features like the Quantum Masks and new characters.
Fans will be able to play through the entire campaign as Crash or Coco, but other characters will be playable at key moments. Neo Cortex can change enemies into something more easily murdered. Dingodile (yes, Dingodile) tailwhips and power-vacs his foes after the destruction of his beloved diner drove him into a rage.
The game is also full of customisable costumes and cosmetics. No microtransactions are required to unlock them, only playing the game.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time launches on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC on October 2, 2020.
