E3 2016: Ghost Recon: Wildlands gets release date, big new trailer

Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands will launch March 7, 2017. The date was announced at Ubisoft’s E3 press event this morning, before the debut of the game’s latest gameplay trailer.

This new game in the venerable Ghost Recon series takes its co-operative bent in a more mercenary direction. The trailer is set in Bolivia and sees the four-person squad of players taking down a Mexican drug cartel that have moved into the area.

They then work together to figure out where the leader of the cartel is hiding and then chase him down in grand action movie style, spouting absurd “gee whiz” dialogue all the while.

Ghost Recon: Wildlands is releasing next year on PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
