Activision’s Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare remaster will be available to those who pre-purchase Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. If you have a PS4, you’ll be able to jump in sooner than everyone else.
The remaster is included with Infinite Warfare‘s Legacy Edition (both physical and digital), Digital Deluxe Edition and the Legacy Pro Edition. Customers who pre-purchase any of these versions of the game on PS4 will get access to Modern Warfare Remastered on October 5, a full month before Infinite Warfare‘s release date.
What’s important to note is that this offer is only for Modern Warfare Remastered‘s single player campaign so if you were already fantastising about a full month of multiplayer grinding before anyone else got to have a go, then curb your enthusiasm. The multiplayer component, loaded with 10 maps, will stay locked until the launch in November.

A second piece of house-keeping: you may notice that this article refers to pre-purchasing the game rather than pre-ordering. That’s because, and this is important, they are not the same thing. Pre-ordering means putting a down payment or a reservation on the game. Pre-purchasing the game means you must to pay for it in full to get early access to Modern Warfare Remastered.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered is being developed by Raven Software in co-operation with Infinity Ward, the game’s original developer. Infinity Ward are also the developer behind Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.
