E3 2016: Skyrim remaster headed to PS4 and Xbox One

Fus-roh-dammit, I’m about to lose another 1000 hours to Skyrim. A high-definition, remastered version of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is set to launch on PS4 and Xbox One October 28.

The game will feature upgraded visuals and art design, as well as mod support on consoles and every last scrap of DLC released for the original. You can see the trailer embedded above and appreciate just how far that game has come since Bethesda released it in 2011.

For those who own the PC version of the game, it’s DLC or the Legendary Edition that comprised the set, congratulations, you’ll get a free upgrade to the remastered edition on launch.
