Everything announced at the March 2025 Nintendo Direct

There’s really no other way to put it; it’s a good time to be a Nintendo fan. That being said, fans will have to wait just a little longer for news on the Nintendo Switch 2, via another Nintendo Direct next week on Wednesday, the 2nd of April or Thursday, the 3rd of April, depending on which state you live in here in Australia.

Nintendo have instead decided to focus solely on titles for the existing Nintendo Switch, which isn’t such a bad move, considering it’s been a relatively quiet slate so far, an understandable move given the inevitable release of a new console.

But in the same breath, we can all take heart in knowing that these games will be compatible with the Switch 2 anyway, so we’ll all have new games to play regardless of which Nintendo Switch we’re holding (potentially) later in the year.

So, without further ado, let’s unpack all the announcements from the March 2025 Nintendo Direct!

METROID PRIME 4: BEYOND

TOMODACHI LIFE: LIVING THE DREAM

POKEMON LEGENDS: Z-A

PAPATON 1+2: REPLAY

STORY OF SEASONS: GRAND BAZAAR

EVERYBODY’S GOLF: HOT SHOTS

MARVEL COSMIC INVASION

VIRTUAL GAME CARD

And that’s a wrap! It’s hard to imagine that we might have seen our last presentation based around the original Nintendo Switch.

But at the same time, it’s also fantastic to see it getting a bunch of love as far as new and existing releases are concerned.

Stay tuned for the next Nintendo Direct next week, where we’ll see the more of the Nintendo Switch 2.
