Gamescom 2015: Guitar Hero Live releases new BTS trailer, adds singing

The more we see of Guitar Hero Live, the more I feel like FreeStyle Games are coming at this project the right way. In addition to a comprehensive behind-the-scenes trailer, FreeStyle have announced the addition of singing to the game so that others can join in for co-op.

The trailer discusses a lot of FreeStyle’s thinking behind their first-person approach to the new game.  It also discusses how they’ve built that experience from its many discrete parts, the game’s various modes and what they’re doing to keep the game’s songlist both  broad and relevant.

Additionally, those who aren’t too hot on the plastic axe but have the voice of an angel can join in with a new singing mode added to the game. To date, this is the only other musical inclusion in the game beyond the lead-rhythm-bass guitar dynamic.

We’re looking forward to checking out what FreeStyle have done with the franchise when it releases October 20. It’ll be out on PS4, Xbox One, Wii U, PS3 and Xbox 360.
