Bungie have released the latest trailer for their massive Destiny expansion, The Taken King, at Gamescom and it’s a whopper. There is so much good stuff in this trailer it’s hard to know where to begin.
We weren’t super into Destiny when we reviewed it last year but, in much the same way Blizzard had to when they first released World of Warcraft, Bungie have been plugging away at their MMO shooter for a full year now and those who stuck around are reaping the rewards of their loyalty.
The expansion is the biggest Bungie have released to date and will pit players against new enemies, new areas, provide a substantial number of tweaks, buffs and nerfs, a ton of new and more powerful gear and loot and will ask players to tackle an entirely new challenge – take down Oryx, the eponymous Taken King.
We’re keen.
Destiny: The Taken King is out September 15 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
