With March now looming in the middle distance, Xbox have announced the titles that will be going free across their network this month and it follows a similar trend to last month — something for the grown ups and something for the kids.
Xbox One owners this month can grab Trials of the Blood Dragon starting March 1st. A Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon inspired stand alone expansion for Ubisoft’s popular motorcycle physics puzzle game, this one will both frustrate you and make you laugh.
On March 16th, Trials will be replaced by the excellent indie puzzle shooter Superhot. If you haven’t played this one yet, now is the perfect opportunity. Superhot is a shooter where your enemies and incoming fire only move when you do. Use skillful maneuvering and clever manipulation of your surroundings to piece together an action movie fight sequence John Woo would be proud of.
Xbox 360 owners aren’t left out in the cold however, with March 1st bringing Brave: The Video Game, a movie tie in with the Pixar film of the same name. March 16th swaps Brave out for Portal-inspired puzzle title Quantum Conundrum. Trust us, if you liked Portal, you’re gonna want to check this one out.
All of these titles are free to anyone with an active Xbox Live subscription. While Xbox 360 owners will only have access to Brave and Quantum Conundrum, Xbox One owners can play all four March titles thanks to Xbox 360 backwards compatibility.
