Subscribers to Sony’s PlayStation Plus service will receive another selection of free games during July and, like Microsoft’s Games with Gold offering, one of them is a new release.
Furi is probably best described as a rhythm-hell shooter, pulling from the twin-stick shooter genre, but also bullet-hell shmups and rhythm shooters like Rez. Furi technically launches next week, but PS Plus subscribers will be able to get it for free on day one.
PS4 players will also be getting Saints Row: Gat out of Hell, as well as month-long early access to the upcoming MOBA/shooter Paragon ahead of its August 18 open beta.
PS3 and PSVita players aren’t left out in the cold, however. PS3 owners can expect to receive Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood and the original Fat Princess while Vita owners are getting Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines and Prince of Persia: Revelation.
