Here’s how to pre-order a Nintendo Switch 2 in Australia

The Nintendo Switch 2 might have been revealed in January, but thanks to Nintendo’s latest Nintendo Switch 2 Direct showcase, we now have a release date, and it’s sooner than you might think.

The Nintendo Switch 2 will release on June 5, 2025, and pre-orders are now live at most major hardware and games retailers. Retailers like JB Hi-Fi, EB Games, Big W and even Officeworks are now live with available options.

It’s worth noting that customers will have two options for the main console. The standard Nintendo Switch 2 console will retail for A$699, while a bundle including a Mario Kart World download code will cost A$769. Here’s where you can pre-order everything below:
