Hitman‘s second episode drops next week, takes you to Sapienza, Italy

We’ve been messing around with Hitman‘s puzzle-box first level, Paris, for just over a month now and we’re still uncovering secrets and creative murder opportunities. The second episode, Sapienza, drops next week and sees Agent 47 head to Italy to stop a scientist deploying an engineered virus on the world. Hit the jump to see the very intense trailer.

Agent 47’s latest target is Silvio Caruso, a man the press release calls “a brilliant bio-engineer reportedly working on a DNA-specific virus able to infect anyone anywhere in the world.”

The trailer doesn’t give too much of the level away, providing glimpses of the idyllic, coastal town juxtaposed with an antiseptic science facility.

The episode releases digitally on Tuesday, April 26 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. A complete retail release will follow toward the end of the year.
