Overwatch, released in 2016 allows you to control one of several Heros in 6 v 6 shooting matches. Released on PS4, Xbox and Windows, this game is now being brought to reality… by reality I mean joining blocks together, using this thing you might have of heard before called LEGO!
With a player base of 40 million and a world wide eternal love of Lego, this collaboration was teased back in May and after a long wait passionate Blizzard Entertainment fans are now able to rest easy.
This collaboration between Blizzard Entertainment and The Lego Group will eventually see the launch of an entire Lego Overwatch building set, but for now they are preempting the release with a limited edition LEGO Overwatch Omnic Bastion. Bastion is one of the heros in Overwatch, formally built to be a war combatant. The Bastion model is available now from the Blizzard Gear Store for $25 USD. Alternatively, if for some reason you happen to be in Anaheim, it can be purchased on site at BlizzCon which is taking place on 2-3 November at the Anaheim Convention Centre.
But we need more details first! The Blizzard exclusive model of Bastion, features the character in the Orange Omnic Crisis Skin, with a display plate built from Lego bricks. When in robot mode the model stands over 12 centimeters and has a swiveling upper body, moveable arms and a weapon built in to the right arm. Most importantly, no one gets left behind as Bastions trust sidekick, Ganymede the bird comes with the model. This is the ideal collectors item you wouldn’t want to miss out on.
